Study with world-renowned teachers

Artistic Director, Galina Alexandrova, passes down the wisdom she learned during her own training at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow, and during her professional career at the Bolshoi Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, and more.

Nikolai Kabaniaev, our Boys’/Men’s Director, also passes down the knowledge he learned training at the Vaganova Academy in St. Petersburg, and during his professional career at the Kirov (Mariinsky) Ballet, and more.

City Ballet’s all-star staff works hard to bring students to their highest potential; and as a result, City Ballet has consistently put students into professional companies around the world, year after year. Check out our Alumni Page to see for yourself!

City Ballet’s Summer Intensive program can range from two to eight weeks in length, depending on the level of the dancer. Along with technique, we feature classical repertoire, partnering, character, stretching, contemporary, and jazz.
